touch pad not working

First thing I would do is go to Toshiba's site and download the driver and reinstall it. If that doesnt get you joy, then its time to get inside and check the connection to the motherboard. Then of course its possible that the touchpad has died, in which case (Im assuming that its out of warranty) you may be able to find a top half on Ebay that has a working trackpad. Those things dont really have a lot of grey area, they typically either work or they dont.
