Toshiba L755 - No bootable device disk -- insert boot disk and press any key

I dropped my phone onto my toshiba L755 and now it stops at No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key. How do I fix it?

that means its not detecting your hard drive either it has come loose or has died would be my guess.

uninstall and reinstall hdd, you could also try booting from win 7 disk or bootable usb. Hdd should not be damaged but you never know

Just had the same issue. Took the hard drive out and put it back in. Works fine. I guess dropping it just shook it loose.
