toshiba laptop cursor not working properly.

My Toshiba satellite C 650 cursor only works when battery is removed and it is on charging. If I completely charge it, it wont work. Please help. Thank you

Edit: Same issue with external mouse as well.

This was the opposite.. the cursor didn't work with the power adapter connected... but it may be related... see if the solution works for you.

Also see if this works:
Press the Fn+F9 combination to disable the cursor, restart the computer and again press Fn+F9 to enable the cursor.
