TOSHIBA LAPTOP - Enter Password at start up...

WHEN I TURN THE LAPTOP ON, I GET AN "ENTER PASSWORD" PROMPT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS. HOW CAN I GET PAST THIS OR RESET IT.

At some point, someone apparently created a password. Ask them.
