It seems that the input language has been accidentally changed in your laptop.

Can you please tell which operating system are you using?

In case of Windows 7 or greater, you can:

> Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Region and Language.

> Go to the Keyboards and Languages tab.

> Click the Change keyboards button under the Keyboards and other input languages section.

> From the Installed services list available in the General tab of the opened Text Services and Input Languages box, move the English (United States) language to the top.

> Click OK to save the changes and if needed, restart the computer.
