Toshiba laptop help

I can't get past starting windows on my Toshiba windows 7 laptop. After after removing the virus I shut my laptop off and tried to reboot it but it just stays on starting windows. Help I'm in online school and need my laptop

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by trying to load the laptop into Safe Mode.
- While the laptop is booting up repeatedly press on F8 until it show Advanced Boot Options then select Safe Mode and press Enter.
- Once loaded in the desktop screen open Task Manager and disable all startup items.
- Reboot your laptop once done and see if it will get pass the starting windows screen.
- If all these will not work load Safe Mode once again and run System Restore.
- Put your PC back to an earlier date or time before you had cleaned up your laptop.
