toshiba laptop problem

my laptop is 5 months old when its not plugged into the mains it is very dull it takes ages to get on the internet and when it does I cant get on to any web pages or apps. when I plugg it in to the mains it becomes very bright and it works perfectly. Any ideas what could be wrong plese

You should have posted this on the "Laptops Tech Support" forum, this forum is for Android tablets only.

My guess is the laptop battery has reached the end of it's useful life and is no longer able to charge up properly. A new battery is required.
