Toshiba Laptop screen is dark

My laptop screen is very dark. I replaced the screen and the ribbon but still no success? Any suggestions?

If you don't have a LED screen - but rather, a CCFL LCD screen - then it's likely your inverter. That's what powers the backlight.

The screen is LED. I first considered the inverter, also, but it's not CCFL LCD. :/

Sorry, but the model number you are referring PCG-61315L, it's for a Sony laptop, not a Toshiba.

Sorry I'm being dumb... It's a Sony Vaio. PCG-61315L never came up on Sony's site but I found the true model number to be VPC-EA33FX... Apparently...
