Hi,

I have a Toshiba NB200-134

and when i start the computer it comes up with the message BOOTMGR is missing.

Is there any way to fix this or reset the laptop without using a CD?

Thanks.

Hello ripley_21;

You'll need to repair the boot manger with a bootable USB stick with the right utility program.

Hiren's BootCD can be installed on a USB flash drive.

MbrFix ver 1.3

The command line instruction would be:
MbrFix /drive 0 fixmbr /yes

(that's as long as you haven't made extra partitions on the HDD)
