After update of BIOS to 2.80, Win 7 won't load. What can be done, and how do I do it?

What exactly happens when you try to start the laptop, goes to Windows start screen and stays there? Doesn't even get that far? Any signs of life at all?

A normal looking message (in a gray stripe at the bottom of the screen), says Windows is loading files, & does that for < 1 min. Then a "squished " frame says Windows is doing something. That goes to a fat (as if it's in a 640x480? display mode) cursor pointing to a multi-colored whirling oval. That's about as far as it goes until I get a box saying that Error F3-F100-0010 has occurred and to shut down the computer. I push the OK button, and the machine shuts down and I try something else, so far to no avail.

That's good, well, not good-like good but it's a good sign. I'll suggest following this guide as a start http/www.tomshardware.com/forum/8263-63-simple-free-guide-removing-malware after going through that guide, you should be back up and running proper
