Toshiba qosmio worthless

Why Toshiba expensive qosmio model, cpl years old, burst in flames?
I have never seen anything like it, my 15 years old laptops are still working, but thosiba just feels the need to die after warranty period is over...

Burst in flames as in on fire? Could be any number of issues, a short, bad power supply, bad battery, overheating and it came into contact with something easily flammable.
