screw the 3D i want the tv with 4K and a truely high refresh rate and no response time i would be way happier it only have to be a 40in be da bomb or yea can we finally move on the better screen tech.. what happen SED FED....

To all who say it`s a fad or w/e ... that`s evolution .. you start with few squeeky models till you perfect it. As for 4k ... well there are still ppl living in the SD era .. and TV stations mostly broadcasting 4:3 SD , for example my cable operator has only 9 HD channels available and that`s at a substatial cost in the monthly bill .. and that HD is what ? 720p ? Till then Bluray is only viable option for HD 4K is still far away.

But ... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ?
"- Remote control operation via iPhone®"

Why the hell would i use my phone as a remote control ? and a very expensive remote control i might say ? When is this iCrap frenzy gonna end ? What`s next ? Nintendo changing their controlers to iphone also ? Now more wheel on your car .. drive with your iphone and god bless you if your battery runs out.

I guess Parallar Barrier
Lenticular aka 4D is still too far away
Light Field technology gives the correct focus plane and is natural
BUT we don't have it yet -
I have used 3D with my Sony F520 and LCD shutter classes
in two different millenia and I don't headaches
but I'm still waiting for 4D LF
BTW: Have you noticed the new 21:9 televisions
I hope they would make a compromise between 16:9 and 21:9
18:9

[citation][nom]junixophobia[/nom]@alidan, my wife actually would not let go of that CRT TV that she had until I showed her some ROI computation about electricity compared to LEDTV.If you really want that CRT TV, stick with it coz you are happy with it. But if you think you are saving money, unless electricity is every cheap in your place, try buying LED TV at lease[/citation]

its not about saving money, it was just an example. the old crt broke. and i kept it around because i loved light gun games, ill miss playing them now.

and lease... yea... the crt actually is cheaper at that point.

also i did the math. on the plazma screen i have, an led would pay for itself in 2 years. i love crunching numbers like that, but i hate it also, because my state has an average of 9 cents per kwatt, but we pay 11 cents. the bill would be almost 100-150$ cheaper if we payed the normal rate (in winter about 50-70$)

Not gonna buy this either. Didint get a 3d tv when i bought my 32 inch tv for a monitor 2 months ago, and i aint getting this crap either. When 3d is "mainstream" and costs nothing, ill get it.
