I have a Toshiba A660 Satellite laptop I bought about a year and 3 months ago.
I have had issues with overheating in the past but now it seems my battery is dead.
I have used this laptop on AC power mostly but the battery was plugged in.
I have read (on some forums) that batteries have an internal clock on how many charges they take but I am not sure whether to believe this.
Did I miss-use my laptop by keeping the battery in while using AC power ? Are the batteries limited by the producer to a set number of charges ?
I am not sure what to believe at this point , any advice would be useful.
