Solved! Toshiba satellite a70

Hello,Don't boot without battery, boot with battery but the power supply don't charge the battery..power supply work well on my other tosh...satellite a70..jack power is ok...

Hello....
Battery is 4 years old but I can charge it (full charge) with my second satellite A70 and the first one work well with the battery charged but the power supply don't charge the battery ...

sounds to me like a bad charging circuit in combination with a flakey power connection
