Toshiba satellite C660 14x

Hiya my Toshiba satellite c660 keeps going to a blank screen when i enter repair start up this happened when i tried to install an update on my Kodak printer.
Does anyone know how to resolve this

boot into safe mode and remove the Kodak driver.
