I am looking for the recovery dvd's for a Toshiba laptop satellite C70D-B-34L the recovery partition being corrupted. Can anyone help. Tell me what to do Please help
Quick search of model showed it usually came win Win 10 home, Just download win 10 install media from Microsoft and do a clean install. It won't have all the extras and bloatware that come with the Toshiba image and you'll need driver(available on toshiba's support)but imho that's a good thing. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-3567655/clean-installation-windows.html
Have you tried contacting Toshiba? They would have what you need and may charge very little for it.
Yes, i called them and they don't do it anymore according to them. Here in Belgium to direct you to one of their partners. This says send back the laptop and we'll reinstall for you but don't give any price.
The old procedure i already use, namely by the recovery discs at Toshiba is no mor used. So what can i do ? Please help Thanks

Hello Thanks for prompt answer. Indeed i proposed your solution to my friend, but he wants to keep the integrity of his disk (all partitions as well as hidden partition and all useless stuff that come with the machine, that is why i am looking for recovery discs because when i want to create them it stops after the second with an error message. Now i also heard that unhiding the restore partition and starting from there can solve the problem. Can you confirm this. Thanks
