Toshiba Satellite Display Problem

Owner of Toshiba Satellite P7755-57215.

Everything is up to date, did a BIOS upgrade after seeing this prolem.

4 inch band of vertical white lines in center of screen at ALL TIMES. Some time of display disfunction.

All I have done at this point was make sure the BIOS was up to date because I am of the understanding the the video cards and built into the CPU in these models.

I have a screenshot if you need a clearer picture of what I'm talking about.


ANy help appreciated, whats the fix? THanks guys

If those bands are there when you start the machine (dos screens) its NEW screen time...

Yeah, the vertical transparent lines 4 inch wide in the center of screen show up right when you turn on the machine and see BIOS screen ...



Really? NO Fix?????

Has to be something I can do ...

ONLY two choices... use an EXTERNAL screen plugged into VGA socket, or NEW screen... its NOT repairable...
