Hello,

The wireless connection (in the taskbar) isn't working on my laptop and when troubleshooting it says the WIFI is turned off, although I have tried pressing FN + F8 (which is the wireless button) but it didn't work and I also tried some idea posted here which was to remove the battery and hold the power button to 30 seconds and power it back but it didn't work either

Are there any other fixes to solve the issue pls?

Thanks,

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to uninstall/reinstall the Wifi adapter.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the wifi adapter.
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- It should reinstall the driver automatically upon reboot.
- Do also make sure that the latest driver has been installed.
- Here's the link for the drivers of your laptop. http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=2520788
- Reboot your laptop again once the latest driver has been installed.
- If the same problem will persist last option would be to reinstall Windows.

Hello,

Just want to make sure, I see two virtual WIFI mini port adapters (one has #2 at end of it and the other has #3) in network adapters tab at the device manager.. Are those the WIFI drivers?
