I obtained this laptop for free and have upgraded it to it's maximum capacity. Below are the specs after upgrade:
CPU: AMD Turion Ultra X2 ZM-82
RAM: 4GB DDR2 800
Hard Drive: Toshiba 750GB
Graphics: Mobility Radeon 3100
The specs are more than double what they were from their factory original and boot time and general web browsing seems to work decent, but video playback on youtube, facebook, plex, etc. is still extremely laggy and slow. I had Windows 10 on it with all up to date drivers. I tried Lubuntu, since it is really lightweight and everything else ran faster, but video playback still suffers. Is the graphics of this laptop just not up to the task or is there something I'm missing?
