Try to update Your BiOS first, than try to put out Your battery, turn on Your notebook, boot to windows, turn it off. Put the battery back. Third run battery health check in Your BiOS, it's self-testing utility.

Than update the thread.

Old post but just wanted to thank you. Although I couldn't follow the directions within the bios to unplug ac (as the battery held no charge) it must have done something as upon restart is now charging! So thank you
