I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Edubuntu 14.04 installed. How can I install Windows 10? Seems like the booting process is linux only when I installed it a few years ago. Want to install Windows 10 and remove Linux.

Buy a copy of Windows 10, install it using the media. You can make a USB or DVD disk from MS downloads of the OS.

That is a bit different than just asking how you can install Windows 10, what else did you try so we are not spending time doing what you already tired?

Added the USB as the main booting item before the hard drive. Does not detect the USB of Windows. It came with Windows originally. I cannot get into Linux because I forget the password. I really don't know what else to do.

Did you test the USB stick you have on another system to make sure it's OK? Maybe try a different brand of the flash drive. Is there a boot option at startup where you can check to see if the USB stick is seen when system starts up, maybe select it manually from there.

That would be silly, it's still the exact same setup, you are just paying for a different code.

You can just download another setup from Microsoft.

Microsoft site. Just need to do a web search for Windows 10 download and will find it.
