Track stolen laptop with serial number

My laptop was stolen and i was wondering if there is any way if i can track it down. i know the serial number and mac address and stuff i just need to know if there is any way i can track it down.

you can contact your local law enforcement authority and your laptop manufacturer's customer support with proof of ownership and inform them about the theft.

Unless you have something like Lojack for Laptops installed BEFORE the loss/theft, there is really nothing you can beyond reporting the incident to the local law enforcement authorities and possibly to your insurance company. Sorry.
