Trackpad isnt showing up

I bought a new laptop yesterday and everything was working fine but today i turned it on and the mouse wasnt showing up on the screen when using the trackpad. When i use my mouse however, it shows up on the screen and is working normally. When i try do re-install the drivers from the asus support page, this message shows up. What could it be?

If this is a brand new device, take it back. No new device should give you issues.
