trackpad wont work

I have received a Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 as a replacement for a faulty Acer Aspire. I cant even set it up as the curser cant be controlled as the trackpad doesnt seem to work. The curser jumps all over the place, I cant click on anything and it took 15 minutes just to turn it off as I couldnt access the menu to do it. I ended up having to use the on/off button. I read the solves but it is no use trying to install/deinstall anything as I cant contol the mouse to click on the menu item. HELP please.

If they gave you that device as a replacement, then you need to contact them back and have them replace that one now. It should work.
