transfer cell number from one pay as you go company to another pay as you go provider

I have a Verizon Pay as you go phone. I want to transfer this number to a Straight talk plan. The form is asking me for a security pin or an account number. Neither which I have as this is a month to month plan from Verizon purchased at Walmart. All I want to do is activate a new Straight Talk cell phone and keep the Verizon number. Is anything easy? Help please.
