Hey Guys,

I have a set of gaming speakers (GX Gaming SW-G2.1 3000) that use a auto-standby feature if they don't receive an audio signal every 2mins or so.

This is really annoying when playing some games, such as sneaking games, as the audio cuts off. There is a 3-4 second delay when they hear a sound to come out of standby also.

I was hoping someone knows of a way to send some kind of 'soundless audio signal' to speakers constantly to stop them going into standby?

Hey ssddx,

Just the thing i need, unfortunately this sound isn't getting picked up by the speakers, so they are staying in standby for the duration.

instead of a silent sound i suppose you could always play music in the background... or play some other sound at a barely audible level.

i happened by amazon.co.uk and those speakers have quite a few bad reviews. some mention the speakers failing within a short period of time. perhaps upgrading to a different speaker set isn't out of the option?
