Trying to Add Search Options in Chrome

What I'm trying to do:
Add Denshi Jisho: http/jisho.org/ added in Chrome with two separate Search options. One for English to Japanese and one for Japanese to English

What's holding me back:
Guides I see on Google say to search something on the site I'm trying to add, and replace the term I'm searching for with a '%'. Sounds straight forward enough.

I search something for Japanese to English, and get this URL: http/jisho.org/words?jap=%E5%AD%A6&eng=&dict=edict&romaji=on

I'm thinking the term I want to replace is after the 'jap=' part. Don't know whether I have to replace the '%' that is right after the '=' too, and whether to leave the '&' right before the 'eng=' part of the URL with it.

Also, when the search engine is added, how do I switch to it?

Click "Start," "All Programs," "Google Chrome." Alternatively, click the "Start" orb and type "chrome" in the instant search box. Google Chrome appears in the list for you to choose.

Click the wrench pull-down menu on the far right-hand corner of your screen and choose "Options."

Click the "Basics" tab. There are four sections: "On Startup," "Home Page," "Default Search" and "Default Browser."

Click the "Manage" button on the "Default Search" section. A list of default search engines is available as well as the ability to add a new default search engine.

Click the "Add" button to add a search engine not listed, such as Dogpile.

Type the name of the new search engine in the Textbox and the URL: In this example, we would type Dogpile as the name and www.dogpile.com as the URL.

Highlight the new search engine and click the "Make Default" button. Dogpile will now be your default search engine in Google Chrome.

That may work for Search Engines such as Yahoo and Bing. Unfortunately, Denshi Jisho is more complicated and has more than one Search Option for one URL.
