Trying to bed I do have an I port

I am trying to connect my y apple TV To my vizio m TV i have 1 row of app st the Bottom of my screen but unable to scroll. I need to add wifi as I wish to use my hotspot from my mobile phone and i do have an airport I can hookup. I am missing the apple TV.remote.

If you don't have the remote, you need one, or something that will work with the Apple TV. I think it should work with a USB keyboard.
