Trying to connect my Asus cm1831 to my sony Bravia Kdl32Bx310 tv

I have an Asus cm1831 upgrade windows 10 desktop computer and I am trying to connect it to my sony Bravia Kdl32Bx310 tv using a small sony blueray Bdve280 Home theatre system. I can't seem to get the computer to see the tv. could someone tell how to to do this? Thanks in advance!

Are you connected with HDMI from computer to HDMI on TV? Is the TV set to the correct input channel?

Hi Burdenbound: thanks for responding: I have 2 hdmi on my tv. One is for the cox imput and 1 is to connect to the home thtr sys. my home theatre has 3 hdmi. 1 says out (arc), and the othe 2 say in. I have my hdmi from my computer plugged into #2 in and that's it.I thought that's all I needed.
No matter which hdmi I look at I can't see the tv. do I have this connected incorrectly?

I personally don't have any experience using a receiver to pass through video, you may want to connect your PC to the receiver by a non-HDMI (optical audio, etc...) cable and then connect your PC directly to your TV via HDMI to avoid issues.
