I'm fairly ignorant on battery compatibility in portable computers, as I've always had the luxury of simply googling the computer model to find its matching battery. Unfortunately for me, the solution for this particular laptop isn't a few clicks away. What options do I have when replacing the battery for an older Getac B300? What do I need to be aware of with each option, if there are other options? I'd rather ask a community that knows what it's talking about before trying anything and causing damage due to my ignorance. Any advice provided would be greatly appreciated.

It's the older model of the Getac B300, but here are some specs to help identify it if needed:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU L7500 @ 1.60GHz 1.60 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
Pen and Touch: Single Touch Input Available
I'm not sure if that information will be useful in the slightest, but I've included it just in case.

Battery info (obtained from eBay listing): Li-ion, 11.1V, 7800 mAH, 87 Wh
Battery: BP3S3P2600 P/N: 441814400049

Media bay battery info (uncertain): Li-Ion 8100mAh BP3S3P2900(P) 441814400099, 10.8V, 88 Wh

That's all the information I was able to find, hopefully it's enough. Thanks again for the help!
