I have a sony receiver str-k670p and a sanyo tv fw50d36fb how to I hook it up to get the sound to come thou the receiver

Solution
The TV has an Optical SPDIF Digital Audio Output and the AV receiver has an input for the same (labled SA-CD/CD IN on the receiver). You could use an optical TOSLINK cable to hook them up together. This will help with 5.1 surround sound too.

Alternately, you could use RCA cables (Red and white cables) for 2.0 stereo sound. This would use up the headphone port on the TV. Something like this > https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-3-5mm-2-Male-Adapter-Cable/dp/B01D5H8JW0
