Trying to post pictures from phone to computer....help!

Hi there,
I'm having an issue with trying to get photos from my phone onto my computer. I have a Samsung Reality. I am using a usb cable to connect it to my computer. When I plug it in the computer recognizes the phone, but it cannot detect any of my photos/videos/music. Why isn't anything showing up on the computer?

i'm not familiar with that phone model...

is it one of those touch screen "dumb phones", ie not an android or win7phone? if so your best option is to load your pictures to your sd card slot if you have one. you can use a free program called bitpim to help navigate your phone from your pc. its clunky but it works. the reason your phone isnt connecting right is most likely because basic phones don't sync well with computers which is why programs like i mentioned above were created.

if its a true smartphone you can navigate its folder heirarchy like a normal usb storage device. from what i see of it... that doesnt look to be the case.
