turn off an android tablet that is frozen

Solution
Well you have a few options. One, you can wait for it to use up the battery and then it will turn off on it's own. Then charge it and turn it back on.

Two, you can locate the 'reset' button on the device (it is a little pinhole) and depress it (with something that isn't sharp) and do a "Factory Reset" of the device. However you may lose some data you have on the device.

Three, you can open up the device and pull the battery for a few minutes and then replace it into the device. NOTE: This option will void any warranty you have on the device. So I would not do it if your tablet is under warranty.
