Solved! Turn on laptop when plugged in

I am running windows 10 on my laptop (G501JW) is there any way to make it turn on every time its plugged in?

The short answer is no. If the laptop is powered off, you need to hit the power button. If it's in sleep mode, you can trigger it to power up by opening the lid or hitting the power button. There's no sensing the power cord to power it up.

I don't get it. What is it that you want the laptop to do?
