If you can't get it to turn off, then you will have to wait until it runs out of power and turns off on its own. Now plug it in to charge, while leaving it off, and only let it charge a short while. Then try turning it on and see if the problem is resolved. If it is, great. If it isn't, then again let it run out of power and repeat the above steps, but this time don't just turn it on. Turn it on in "Safe Mode" and see if it will turn off correctly from there. If it will, then you have something on the tablet that needs to be removed. Bad app, virus, malware, etc. If it still won't turn off correctly, even in "Safe Mode" then I would have a tech look at it.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.
