From a pure geek/gadget perspective, that's pretty awesome. From a consumer perspective I really don't see the point - it's not like it'll be any cheaper than the actual Eee keyboard when you factor in the cost of the iPhone.

it only makes much sense if you already have the phone/ios device to begin with, then all you need is a relatively smaller expense in the form of a compatible keyboard

why not just buy the ipad dock, it does essentially the same thing and works with all ios 4.1 devices?
