Turned new laptop on without charging 100% first

Before plugging it in like an idiot I pressed the power button to see if it was already charged. when I plugged it in to a charger it automatically turned on. I know its recommended that you charge the battery 100% and want to know how bad it is that I turned it on before charging it fully

Maybe a little. Might you have lessened the total capacity of the battery pack? Maybe a little. Will you probably notice it ? No.
