Turtle Beach ear force x12 - Windows is not detecting the mic

I received the x12 today (First time using TS, so i went cheap to see how i like it). But i have a problem: Microsoft does not detect the microphone (Win 7).

I've searched around a lot, but not seen anyone with that problem. The speakers works totally fine, the microphone too, but windows just wont detect it under the "Recording" tab (Sound settings).

Would appreciate some tips, or a solution 😉

I doubt this will work, but just to be sure:
In the Recording devices tab (where you were), right click and make sure "Show disabled devices" is checked.

Nope it won't, that option is disabled...

Well hang on... what exactly is the problem? Because your first post says that Windows can't detect the mic under recording devices, but you also say that "The speakers works totally fine, the microphone too."
