Turtle Beach XP Seven Sound cuts out

i have had my xp sevens for a while now but just never cared till now and it wont let me use 5.1 surround sound

It's probably not a hardware issue.

Try connecting directly to the back of the computer.

If you want surround sound in-game, try changing in-game audio settings to something like "Headphones".

i tried connecting to the back but it disables my mouse and 5.1 wont stay on, on the ACU
