Solved! TV and Hard Drive Problem

Hello, I am just a newbie here and I say hello to everyone.
Query....I thought I would be smart and combine all of my memory sticks to one hard drive, being 1TB
All movies transferred ok and I can watch all movies on my computer. I popped the same hard drive
into my smart TV, it brings up the hard drive but only a selection of maybe 20 movies and then stops dead.
I can only watch these few movies that come up....why is this so... so annoying and frustrating especially when a movie night
was planned with friends.

Could be a limitation of the TV with how large of a disk it can use, and may also be a low power issue where it can't run the disk off the USB port on it. Try using a powered hub and check the TV documentation if it has anything about a disk size limit.
