Solved! Tv and soundbar

Is the proscan soundbar compatible with my Toshiba tv? If so then how would you connect a Toshiba 40FT2U to a proscan soundbar PSB3713-C. It's an older tv from 2011 and I have a roku as well. Sound from the roku channels come thru the soundbar but the tv sound isn't.

To get TV sound on SB, 2 often used hookups: HDMI ARC, both must support it, OR via Optical.

That TV has a coax digital audio output. You can get a coax digital to analog audio converter. That would connect to the aux input on the soundbar for sure. Check the TV manual on how to use that output.
The manual for the soundbar shows an optical audio jack but doesn't mention it so maybe it's not active on that model. There are coax to optical digital audio converters but it may not work for you on that soundbar.
