We are looking for a TV antenna to replace our cable box. I have some ham experience, but I am at a loss for something like this.

We live in a valley within a very hilly area, and we would like it to be able to revive 4K signals.

If anyone has any recommendations or advice to get me started that would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
If you can't place the antenna high enough to clear the hills there isn't an antenna solution. A signal amp might help but digital TV isn't like old analog. It doesn't get noisy (snowy) if the signal is low. It just goes away.
You could drop cable TV and retain internet service. Then use a Roku to access content. That will give you 4k if the content is there. The AirTV channel is free and provides local channels. Lots of other free content and you could subscribe to streaming services and still cut your bill down dramatically.
