Im having trouble getting any audio from my surround sound. The speakers are connected to my AV reciever and i have audio optical cable from AVR to my samsung tv but still no sound...help anyone!! i would also like to integrate my xbox one into it somehow but its okay if not
You need to set TV to use optical instead of TV speakers, and you of course need to select the optical input on the AV R.
As far as your XBOX 1 or any other device, if you connect it to TV with hdmi and have optical out to your AVR then you are set.
If your AV R has hdmi then you should have all devices connected to the receiver and then just output hdmi to TV
