TV DVR recommendation

Would someone in the community please recommend a DVR for TV recording?.
Also, Is there a difference between a DVR used for a security system and one used for TV?

Most DVR's for TV through a cable company you have to get from the cable company because they are made to work with their service. A DVR for antenna TV usually allows you to hook an antenna up to it to record. One for security usually lets you record many cameras at a time, so they are all different.

we use over the air, so no cable company. I've seen many on Ebay that look good. Should I get one with a tuner or more than one tuner?
