TV flickers when plugged into laptop via hdmi

When I plug my laptop into any tv via an hdmi cable, it makes the tv flicker and the pixels are messed up. It only recently began doing this.

Are you using the same HDMI cable? Sometimes they can go bad if they have been bent for extended periods of time.

If so, try reinstalling the graphics drivers. Beyond that it's a hardware issue.

To install drivers you will need to obtain them at Link 1. for Nvidia and Link 2 for AMD/RADEON

There will also be a tool from which you can get software which will provide information about your GPU / Graphics Card.
