Tv keeps turning off when volume button is pressed

My onix tv keeps turning off when ever i press the volume button on the side of the tv, i have to press the volume button manually on the side of tv cause the tv broke and can't find a universal remote to connect to my tv any help would be prefect cheers

Sounds like the circuit board that the volume and power buttons are on is cracked. A tech may be able to repair it but I suspect that the price would make replacing the TV a better investment.
