tv powers on no picture

I have full sound and the back light lights up but no picture it is an lg 55lm4600 I've tried unplugging for awhile and it didn't work

Most likely a bad ciruit inside the TV (duh!). Repairs a probably best left to an expecienced technician. Unless it is under warranty, you may be needing at a total replacement.
