Solved! Tv powers up, shows logo, then goes blank

Hi. I have a year old hisense. Not sure the model. Smart tv. The power button on the tv worked once yesterday. Now it will only turn on or off by power cord. I plug it in and the logo appears. Then the second (normal) spinning logo, then the screen goes blank. I do not have cable, so have no clue about sound. We only use Netflix etc. The only physical button on tv is the tiny joystick like button. Moves up/down or left/right. Pushes in for power. Any thoughts? 3 kids and one tv... This is awful

I think your TV needs a rest. Try not to use it overnight. If the issue still persists, there is a possibility for having a damage part on the board, but it needs to be checked by a trusted technician for TV first before jumping into conclusion that it needs to be repaired. Best to contact them to assess the problem.

Unplug it from the wall, for 1 hr, hope that resets it. After that u need house call, can't, impossible to remote troubleshoot based on your description.
