I currently have a hisense H55B7500 UK 2019 TV which has 2x HDMI port, 1x HDMI ARC port and a digital audio out. My LG Dvd Receiver HT805 only has 1xHDMI out, 1x Euro AV to TV and a optical audio in. Xbox one X has HDMI out, HDMI in and a digital optical audio port.

What is the best one to be plugging each one into? I've currently got it so the Xbox one X is connected to the LG HT via optical audio cable and then the Xbox one X to the TV via HDMI. Which is fine but when I want to watch stuff solely from the TV I have to use the TV audio or connect the TV to the LG HT via the only Optical in port the receiver has.

Should I just get a splitter would that work? So that the receiver can have two optical outs from the one optical in? Am I getting the best out of my
setup?

Thanks for any answers/help :)
