Question TV turning on issues

Hi,

My TV is quite old now, around 10 years, it’s HD etc but not a Smart TV. I’m having a few issues with it and I think it’s on its way out maybe?

The TV will not power on, it take 3-5 tries of powering up on the on / off button on the side of the TV. The remove does nothing it just starts to power up then switches off but the side buttons works a

I’ve also noticed when I wake up the TV has turned itself back on. I would of thought it was the remote but it can’t be!

Is it time for a new Tv?
